Canvasser/Outside Sales Appointment Setter – $17/hr + Bonuses Per Booked Estimate

Location: Riverview & Tampa Bay Area, FL

Job Type: Part-Time, In the Field

Pay: Starting at $17/hour + escalating bonuses for every estimate you book

At the door, you ARE Top Banana Painting. To most homeowners, you're the first person they'll ever meet from our company. Their first impression of us depends entirely on you, and that's why we hire for character and attitude before résumés.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO

You'll work assigned neighborhoods across Riverview, Brandon, Valrico, Apollo Beach, and greater Tampa Bay. You'll start conversations with homeowners about their home's exterior and book free painting estimates right there at the door.

You will NOT be measuring houses, writing estimates, or closing deals. Your job is to start great conversations and get appointments on the calendar. Our office calls to confirm and qualify every appointment within 5 minutes. Our estimators handle everything after that.

A typical shift:

- Knock doors in a targeted neighborhood using our proven exterior script

- Introduce Top Banana Painting and spot homeowners who need painting

- Book estimates on the spot and enter them into our system

- Track your conversations and appointments

- Compete against your own numbers (and your teammates')

The target is one booked appointment every 1.5 hours. We'll train you until that feels easy.

TRAINING & GROWTH

No experience needed. Our structured training track covers:

- How to approach homeowners with confidence

- How to guide a conversation and handle objections

- How to book appointments that actually show up

- How to track and improve your numbers

Top performers can move into our Sales Rep track, where you split time between canvassing and sales training and then start closing your own deals. Canvassing Manager and leadership roles are also open as we grow.

REQUIREMENTS

- Comfortable talking face-to-face with strangers

- Able to work outdoors and walk for extended periods in Florida weather

- Reliable transportation to assigned neighborhoods

- Punctual, dependable, and coachable

- Professional appearance and positive attitude

- Valid driver's license preferred
