About the Role:
NJE Concrete Pumping LLC is looking for a skilled Boom Pump Operator to join our growing team in Fort Myers, FL! This is your chance to operate heavy equipment on exciting construction projects while working with a crew that takes pride in quality and safety. If you're experienced behind the controls and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and break down boom pump equipment on residential and commercial job sites
- Safely position and stabilize the pump truck using outriggers prior to operation
- Coordinate with concrete truck drivers, foremen, and crew to ensure smooth pours
- Monitor concrete flow, pressure, and boom placement throughout each pour
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on pump trucks and related equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs to keep equipment in top condition
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and site-specific safety protocols
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating a concrete boom pump or similar heavy equipment
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred or required
- Strong understanding of concrete pumping systems, hydraulics, and boom operation
- Ability to read job site layouts and communicate effectively with crew members
- Solid knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and job site best practices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in outdoor conditions including heat and varying terrain
- ACI or ACPA certification is a plus
- Must be available to work Saturdays
