Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Billings, MT, requiring an active MT or compact RN license and at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience.

Details

• Day shift, 12-hour shifts (3 days per week)
• 36 hours per week
• Med/Surg unit within a regional hospital setting
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active MT RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (must not expire prior to start date)
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
• NIHSS certification
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Med/Surg patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient well-being
• Delegates, supervises, and collaborates with other care team members as needed
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
• BSN is preferred but not required
