Job Summary

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Accela Rehab and Care Center at Somerton, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, working closely with physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care. You will assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and monitor patient progress. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals will be invaluable in promoting positive outcomes and a high level of patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients
• Conduct therapy sessions, including exercises, stretches, and other modalities to help patients achieve their goals
• Monitor patient progress, document treatment notes, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Contribute to a positive and supportive treatment environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and empowerment
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of effective treatment plans
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and agency policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
