ICU/CCU Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Floating required, with every other weekend commitment.

We are seeking an experienced ICU/CCU Registered Nurse to provide critical care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patients with severe or life-threatening illnesses and injuries while working in a fast-paced environment. This role includes floating between ICU, PCU, and CCU.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in the ICU/CCU setting.
Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators and drips.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.
Document patient care activities and maintain accurate health records.
Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with at least 2 previous travel assignments completed successfully.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Experience with ventilator management and intravenous drips.
Familiarity with Cerner EMR systems.
