Overview Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery | Cumming, Georgia, US starts 06/22/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal heart rate tracings, and respond to nonreassuring patterns. Assist with labor, delivery (including cesarean delivery when needed), and postpartum care; support pain management and analgesia as ordered. Administer medications and manage intrapartum therapies (e.g., oxytocin) per physician orders. Document all patient care in the electronic health record (Cerner) with accurate, timely charting. Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and collaborate with the obstetric team to ensure safe, quality outcomes. Requirements Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia. Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) nursing experience. Required certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring, and AWOHNN. Cerner EHR experience is preferred. Ability to work 12-hour shifts; shift pattern refers to days in a 3-day sequence (12x3).
