Solenis is a 2025 Best Managed Company Gold Standard honoree.We are seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to support the performance, integrity, and long-term reliability of plant equipment and systems. This role focuses on improving asset reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting engineering-based maintenance strategies within an industrial environment.Reliability & Maintenance StrategySupport the development and implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programsAnalyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability and reduce downtimeParticipate in reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) initiatives and continuous improvement effortsFailure Analysis & Problem SolvingConduct or support root cause analysis (RCA) to identify causes of equipment failuresPartner with maintenance and operations teams to implement corrective and preventive actionsTrack repeat failures and identify trends to improve long-term asset performanceMechanical Integrity & ComplianceAssist with mechanical integrity programs to ensure equipment operates safely and reliablySupport inspection activities for critical assets such as pumps, vessels, piping, and tanksHelp ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., API, ASME, OSHA) and company policiesInspection, Testing & MonitoringParticipate in inspections and condition monitoring activities (e.g., vibration, lubrication, oil analysis)Review equipment condition data to identify potential issues and recommend actionsSupport implementation of predictive maintenance technologies where applicableProject & Engineering SupportSupport capital and maintenance projects related to equipment upgrades, modifications, and installationsProvide input on equipment design, selection, and reliability considerationsCollaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to achieve project goalsDocumentation & Data ManagementMaintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and reliability activitiesUtilize CMMS/SAP or similar systems to track work orders, equipment history, and maintenance plansGenerate reports and provide recommendations based on data and analysisContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve reliability, safety, and maintenance effectivenessSupport initiatives focused on reducing costs, improving uptime, and extending asset lifePreferred QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldExperience with reliability engineering, maintenance planning, or mechanical integrity programsFamiliarity with root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, or RCM methodologiesExperience using SAPKnowledge of API, ASME, or other applicable industry standardsExposure to predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound, etc.)We understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification.
