Management Analyst I

ATA Services, Inc. is currently seeking a Management Analyst I for a 9-month, full-time temporary assignment.

Pay Rate: $17.55 per hourStart Date: As soon as possibleDuration: 9 monthsSchedule: Full-time – Monday thru Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm

Position Overview

The Management Analyst I will provide administrative, research, and analytical support for departmental projects and initiatives. This position is ideal for an individual with experience in financial analysis, auditing, governmental operations, public administration, legislative analysis, or related areas.

The selected candidate will assist with reviewing information, conducting research, evaluating policies and procedures, and preparing clear and accurate reports and supporting documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis related to departmental projects and initiatives.
• Review financial, budgetary, and operational information.
• Analyze data and prepare reports, summaries, and other written work products.
• Review and evaluate policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist with compliance and performance-related reviews.
• Review budgetary and legislative information as needed.
• Collect, organize, and maintain information used for management decisions.
• Assist with special projects, organizational studies, and process improvement efforts.
• Prepare technical records, correspondence, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor and document information related to grants, funding, and departmental programs.
• Support management with implementing operational changes and improvements.
• Attend meetings and assist with follow-up activities and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Approximately two years of professional experience in administrative or financial analysis, auditing, governmental operations, public administration, or a related field.
• Education and experience may be considered in combination where applicable.
• Previous experience working with a municipal, state, or other governmental entity is beneficial.
• Strong research, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to review detailed information and prepare clear, accurate documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
