Window Cleaning Technician

Role Description The Window Cleaning Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Rochester Hills, MI. This position is responsible for cleaning interior and exterior glass surfaces on residential and commercial properties, including windows, doors, storefronts, and other glass installations. Day-to-day tasks include safely setting up and using ladders, lifts, and other access equipment; removing dirt, debris, stickers, and construction residue; and ensuring streak-free, professional results. The technician will inspect glass and surrounding frames for damage or issues, report findings to supervisors, and coordinate with other team members on scheduling and site access. Additional responsibilities include maintaining tools and equipment, following all safety procedures and company policies, interacting professionally with clients and site contacts, and assisting with related building envelope or glass-service tasks as needed. Qualifications Experience with professional window cleaning techniques, including safe use of squeegees, scrapers, and cleaning solutions. Ability to work safely at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts, and to follow all fall-protection and site-safety protocols. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, streak-free results on a variety of glass surfaces. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying equipment, and working in a range of weather conditions. Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time on-site in Romeo, MI, with a strong focus on teamwork and communication. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation to job sites. Previous experience in window cleaning, construction, glass, or building maintenance is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and follow instructions is essential. High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial; relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, lift training, fall protection) are a plus.
