Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects (tables, views, indexes, procedures, functions, triggers). Primary ask in this role to develop stored procedures & triggers and must have hands on development experience.
- Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL code for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and resource management.
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions with business applications.
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues including performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies, and connectivity problems.
- Participate in database migrations, upgrades, and patching activities.
- Document database designs, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Oracle Database Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Experience with Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization
- Experience with Oracle 12c/19c or later versions.
- Experience working with Oracle Unifier & Primavera P6 products
- Familiarity with cloud-based Oracle solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
- Exposure to other database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
