$30–$45/hour (depending on experience & FT, PT, PRN)

Your Role as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

As a PTA at Ellisville Rehab & Nursing, you will provide essential care to our residents by:

• Administering therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and completing all required documentation.

• Preparing, maintaining, and cleaning treatment areas, including prepping equipment and residents for therapy.

• Orienting and reassuring residents during therapy while ensuring their safety.

• Performing routine office duties, such as answering phones, receiving residents, and maintaining records.

• Recommending improvements to therapy methods and procedures to the Physical Therapist.

• Demonstrating and instructing residents and nursing personnel on exercises, positioning, transfers, and use of medical appliances.

• Assisting with resident discharge planning, coordinating equipment, and assistive devices with input from the Physical Therapist.

What You Need

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

• A valid professional license and registration in the state of Missouri.

• Experience in long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
