We're Mallard Agency, a creative agency in Southlake, TX that's equal parts branding studio, production company, and traditional marketing agency. We help businesses become the brand they've always wanted to be, and we do it by bringing these disciplines together under one roof. On the branding side, we shape the strategy, design, social, and web that give a company a clear and confident identity. On the production side, we bring that identity to life with cinematic video and photography, working out of our DFW studio and on location all over the country. As a full service marketing partner, we keep that brand moving with ongoing campaigns and execution. The result is a brand that not only looks the part but tells a story worth remembering. Our core purpose is to help people love what they're building, personally and professionally, by transforming ordinary businesses into extraordinary brands. So far, we've done just that for over 150 clients, and we're just getting started. Position Summary As a Brand Manager at Mallard, you'll be the strategic and operational heartbeat for a portfolio of client relationships. This isn't just a client service role. It's a dynamic blend of part strategist, part project manager, part producer, and part trusted advisor. You'll serve as the key liaison between our internal team and our clients, ensuring projects are delivered with excellence, clarity, and creative impact. From leading discovery meetings and shaping briefs to overseeing campaign rollouts and owning productions from concept to completion, you'll help bring brands to life and keep them moving forward. You'll work across disciplines including branding, social, video, digital, production, and more, ensuring every deliverable hits the mark and drives measurable value for the client. The result is work that is consistently on strategy, on time, and a step above. Responsibilities Own a portfolio of client relationships across industries, serving as their day to day contact and trusted strategic guide. Partner with internal and external teams to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies tailored to each client's goals and budget. Research assigned clients to become a genuine expert in their business and market, keeping strategy and execution aligned. Develop detailed agendas and lead client meetings with clear communication and confident strategic direction. Manage each account's scope and budget, protecting profitability and addressing scope creep before it impacts the work or the relationship. Write clear, compelling creative briefs that translate client strategy into direction the creative team can bring to life. Serve as the first set of eyes on all creative, giving early, thoughtful feedback that sharpens the work before it reaches the client. Oversee the creation of assets across copywriting, brand identity, design, email, and social, ensuring each meets our creative standards and the client's brand strategy. Review every deliverable before it leaves the agency, handling proofreading, quality checks, and alignment with creative and strategic intent. Build and execute organic marketing campaigns, including content calendars, scheduling, community engagement, and reporting. Build comprehensive pre production plans for every shoot, including shot lists, scheduling, equipment, creative references, and scripts, communicating any added costs to the client. Serve as a producer on set and manage the full post production workflow, partnering with the production team and outside directors on every deliverable. Coordinate freelancers, talent, travel, and equipment, keeping all files labeled, backed up, and organized across company platforms. Direct the internal team on each account, delegating with clear guidance and precise expectations to keep every project on track and on time. Prepare clear documentation for every account, including agendas, status reports, production schedules, and next steps for clients. Present results and progress to clients regularly, connecting the work back to their goals and reinforcing the value of the partnership. Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships, recommending new services and driving account growth and retention. Research the latest marketing trends and tactics to continually improve the value we deliver to clients. Become proficient in the StoryBrand framework and implement it across all client projects. Attend all company wide meetings, providing thought leadership in your specialty and adding value beyond your role. Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the agency. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field 3+ years of experience in a creative marketing environment or agency Proven ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously with excellence Strong background in client services, project management, and production workflows Deep understanding of today's marketing landscape across digital, social, and traditional channels A sharp creative eye with the ability to shape briefs, guide creative, and deliver feedback that elevates the work Confidence communicating with senior level clients and guiding them toward growth through strategic insight and creative direction Extreme attention to detail and a high bar for producing polished, brand aligned work High emotional intelligence, committed to empathy, grace, and problem solving Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, with a knack for keeping complex projects on track and on time Familiarity with the StoryBrand marketing framework and associated strategies Experience with the following software: Teamwork, Milanote, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Keynote, Frame, Vimeo, YouTube, Slack, Google Workspace, and AI Platforms Willing to commute to the agency office in Southlake, Texas Competitive salary with growth opportunities Company-sponsored 401k (3% agency contribution) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 3 weeks of vacation per year + holidays Bonus opportunities Annual team-bonding retreat It is Mallard Agency’s policy to promote equal employment opportunities.
