Heritage Insurance is looking for a driven, relationship-focused Lead Outside Sales Representative to join our growing sales organization.

This is more than a traditional sales position. You'll have the opportunity to build your own book of business, develop relationships with business owners and decision-makers, and grow into a leadership and mentorship role as you master our proven sales process.

You'll work directly with small and medium-sized businesses in your assigned territory, helping business owners provide supplemental insurance solutions to their employees and their families.

What You'll Do Build and Grow Your Business

• Develop and maintain your own book of business within an assigned sales territory.

• Prospect for new business through B2B cold calling, referrals, networking, and relationship building .

• Meet face-to-face with business owners, managers, and key decision-makers.

• Identify business needs and present supplemental insurance products and solutions.

• Develop long-term relationships with clients and decision-makers.

• Follow up with prospective and existing clients to review their needs and identify additional opportunities.

• Contact new businesses, referrals, and existing accounts that need to be re-serviced.

• Provide professional customer service and respond to client calls and emails.

Become a Sales Leader

As you gain experience and demonstrate success, you'll have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities focused on training, mentoring, and developing new sales representatives .

• Assist with hands-on, in-field training for new sales representatives.

• Demonstrate effective prospecting, presentation, communication, and sales techniques.

• Mentor new representatives as they learn and implement the sales process.

• Provide individualized coaching, encouragement, and support.

• Help new team members navigate challenges and build confidence.

• Lead by example through your own sales production and professionalism.

Manage Your Territory

• Develop a weekly schedule based on your territory, client appointments, and business-development activities.

• Attend scheduled team meetings, training calls, and meetings with your sales manager.

• Maintain accurate client and prospect information.

• Track and submit daily sales activity and performance metrics.

• Consistently work toward individual production and professional-development goals.

Licensing & Education Requirements

• Must already hold a Health & Life insurance producer license or be willing and able to obtain one.

• Licensing reimbursement is available.

• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of professional post-high-school work experience.

• Candidates within 6 months of completing a bachelor's degree may be considered.

• Candidates with less than 4 years of professional experience may be considered if they have relevant or specialized outside sales experience.

• Full-time

• 8-hour shift
