School-Based Physical Therapist - Torrington, CT

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist certification in Connecticut
• Demonstrated previous experience working within a school setting
• Expertise supporting PreK-12 students with diverse needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other service providers
• Organized, adaptable, and responsive in ever-changing environments

Role Overview:

• Provide tailored physical therapy services to students in alignment with IEPs and school goals
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress as required
• Collaborate with special education staff, general educators, families, and related service professionals
• Deliver therapy sessions on a part-time basis for 1-2 days per week
• Promote participation and independence in classroom and school activities
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and school procedures
