Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | 12-hour Night Shifts | Every 3rd weekend and every other holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 11-bed Labor and Delivery unit supporting approximately 112 deliveries per month
• Manage care across Labor and Delivery and an 8-bed Postpartum unit as needed
• Document patient care and clinical data using EPIC EMR
• Participate in mandatory on-call rotations of up to 20 hours within a 6-week block, with a 2-hour call-back minimum and a 10-minute response requirement if called in
• Adhere to facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season for staff who decline flu and COVID vaccination

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in OB with Labor and Delivery experience
• Demonstrated Labor and Delivery clinical competency
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR strongly preferred
• Familiarity with high-volume Labor and Delivery environments
• Experience managing variable census and on-call scheduling
