Data Scientist
thirdweb is a full stack development platform for web3. We provide frontend, backend and on-chain tools for developers to build apps & games that works on any EVM chain. Our mission is to empower developers to easily create decentralized internet products, and serve them to billions of users. Over 100,000 developers use thirdweb every month and over 1M unique wallets have interacted with our contracts on mainnet. As our first Data Scientist hire, you will help us make informed decisions based on meaningful data insights. You'll work in partnership with Product, Engineering and Design to shape product development, influence our roadmap and help us better understand our customers. You will be leveraging data to influence how we build our product, identify new opportunities, and evaluate the impact of our work on developers, the web3 ecosystem and thirdweb. You will use clear insights and recommendations to help the product team prioritize what to build, set goals, and understand our customers. What you'll be doing:
- Perform analyses on products and the ecosystem to answer open-ended questions and provide strategic recommendations
- Developing and maintaining key product metrics and dashboards, and identify trends, correlations and insights to drive roadmap changes
- Working with internal teams to build data pipelines & ensure data accuracy and quality
- Measuring success of product efforts through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring of key product metrics
- Defining and testing levers to improve the product, and drive usage through your insights and recommendations.
What we're looking for:
- At least a BA/BS in a quantitative field (ex Math, Stats, Physics, or Computer Science) with ≥4+ years of relevant experience in fast growing technology companies
- Experience driving impact for software products with an iterative development cycle.
- Experience in data analyses with SQL
- Experience with programming/modelling in Python

Pay & Benefits:
- The annual US base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $210,000. You'll also get additional benefits that include:
