About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic advisor, enterprise integrator, and execution leader, partnering closely with the CFO and finance leadership team to advance the organization's financial sustainability, operational transformation, and strategic priorities. This role is pivotal in driving alignment, accountability, and communication across complex cross-functional initiatives, ensuring that the CFO can focus on the organization's highest-value strategic opportunities and enterprise risks. The Chief of Staff will also be responsible for leading the development of high-impact executive communications, synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations, and fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence within the finance organization. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree, and at least 10 years of experience in healthcare, managed care, consulting, finance, strategy, operations, or related fields. Experience in highly regulated healthcare or managed care environments, particularly within Medi-Cal, Medicare Advantage, D-SNP, or Covered California, is essential. The role requires exceptional executive presence, strategic thinking, business and financial acumen, and the ability to influence without direct authority. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must, as is the ability to operate effectively in complex and rapidly evolving environments. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and experience in project management and executive-level presentation development are also necessary.
