Job Description
TITLE
Cardiac Cath / Interventional Cardiac Lab Clinician

SCHEDULE
- Shift: 4x10 - 07:30-18:00 (some early shifts 06:30-17:00); one of the 4 days will be a late shift to complete the last patient.
- Call: 1 night per week
- Weekend requirement: 1 weekend every other month

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum years of experience: 2
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Skills: Diagnostic & interventional cardiac catheterization (LHC/RHC), PCI, stent placement, sheath removal/monitoring, IABP/Impella support, rotablator, vascular access, starting/maintaining IVs, ACT monitoring, EKG interpretation/dysrhythmia management, procedural sedation monitoring, hemodynamic monitoring (Swan-Ganz), topical hemostasis
- Familiarity with medications/therapies: IV vasopressors, thrombolytics, reversal agents, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, emergency medications

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
- Manage patients undergoing PCI and structural heart procedures.
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic parameters during procedures.
- Provide procedural sedation and monitor patients for complications.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to establish care plans based on patient needs.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-care instructions.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Orientation: 24 hours unit orientation
- Pre-start modules required: Must be completed pre-start; use Chrome or Edge.
- Flu vaccine is required (medical/religious exemptions only).
- Candidate must be ready to enter the lab and complete testing within 48 hours after signing.
