As subject matter experts in information security models, best practices, and operational strategies, they reduce client risk by mapping technology to organizational processes and resources.This is a critical, highly visible role supporting several of Proofpoint’s top accounts. The Consultant must be confident working with technical resources, analysts, project sponsors, and executive stakeholders, delivering strong communication through product deliverables, meetings, workshops, and briefings.The role also requires the ability to work with non-technical stakeholders to develop technical and business requirements for custom data security programs.Your Day-to-DayScope engagements by assessing client operations and business processes, gathering requirements, and recommending optimized Proofpoint solutionsProvide strategic program design solutions to help clients identify, protect, monitor, and manage sensitive data and usersCollaborate with Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to resolve customer concerns and escalationsPartner with the sales organization to ensure customer needs are met and satisfaction remains highPresent updates to management, highlighting risks, challenges, and proposed solutionsWhat You Bring to the Team8+ years of industry experience in a customer-facing role8+ years of experience in IT consulting or related fieldsFamiliarity with data security domains, including:Insider Threat ManagementEndpoint SecurityCloud SecurityData Security Posture ManagementIdentity Threat DetectionStrong executive-level communication skills (written and verbal)Excellent organizational skills with attention to detailProven commitment to exceptional client service, both in-person and virtuallyAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously through completionDemonstrated experience identifying and mitigating escalationsStrong English proficiency for both technical and non-technical communicationDesired SkillsProficiency in Active Directory (GPO management)Experience with identity security tools and knowledge of identity-centric indicators of compromise and deception-based detectionBasic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell, Python)Basic understanding of Linux infrastructureExposure to Microsoft or Symantec DLP solutionsWhy Proofpoint?At Proofpoint, we believe that an exceptional career experience includes a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
