RDH- Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Opportunity

Part-time position for RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist in Redwood City dental office. Hours are Monday from 10-7 and Thursdays from 7-4. Office utilizes Dentrix and offers great pay. Benefits included.

We are a modern, state-of-the-art general dental office located in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a thriving dental practice and are seeking an RDH Dental Hygienist to join our established and dedicated team. We are searching for a part-time or full-time member of our staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x-rays
• Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods
• Communicate with doctor where there are opportunities in patients for restorative and/or periodontal needs
• Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient (review patient health history and care slips) and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients

Qualifications:

• Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
