You'll be part of a collaborative environment that values mentorship, professional growth, and a people-first culture.What You'll DoReporting to the Manager of Electrical Engineering, you will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to design electrical systems for industrial and commercial facilities.Key responsibilities include:Designing lighting and lighting control systemsDesigning low- and medium-voltage power distribution systemsPreparing engineering drawings and technical specificationsSelecting and specifying electrical materials, equipment, and design methodsSupporting the development of control systems for mechanical and refrigeration systemsCollaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers throughout the design processWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)2-5 years of experience in electrical design and/or the A/E consulting industryStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities independentlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated initiative, professionalism, and a strong work ethicPreferred QualificationsEngineer Intern (EI) certificationExperience with RevitWhy Hixson?Founded in 1948, Hixson Architecture, Engineering & Interiors is consistently recognized among the top architectural and engineering firms in the United States.
