Step into a meaningful contract opportunity working as an Occupational Therapist supporting students ranging from PreK through 12th grade. In this dynamic setting, you'll provide essential onsite services across 1-3 school locations in the Tracy, CA area. While three OTs currently serve virtually, your role will be critical in delivering hands-on therapy and fostering student growth and independence. You'll collaborate within an established, supportive team that includes four OTs and two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), all dedicated to creating positive outcomes for students with diverse needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California Occupational Therapy license (OTR/L)
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Familiarity with PreK-12 student populations and a range of exceptionalities
• Ability to adapt interventions based on individual student needs and school site resources
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and fellow therapists
• Commitment to working onsite from ASAP through May 27, 2027

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver school-based occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess student abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain precise documentation and progress reports
• Work closely with educators, other therapists, and COTAs to coordinate services and maximize student potential
• Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
• Flexibly adapt your approach based on varying assignments and school site requirements
