Principal Software (SW) Test Engineer

We are seeking a Test Engineer for the Physical Sciences & Systems business unit located near Newport, Rhode Island. Responsibilities Develop and execute test plans for Linux & VxWorks software development, hardware and software integration, and test planning and development. Perform testing of both hardware and software systems, isolate failures, and propose solutions. Interface with DoD clients to execute formal sell-off test events and integration test periods. Work closely with development teams when bugs are identified to track and resolve issues. Track and verify requirements. Qualifications An active DoD Secret clearance. BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline with 8 years of experience, or an MS in the same field with 5 years of experience. Experience executing tests in software environments and documenting test results. Experience with test tracking software tools. Ability to travel overnight as required. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of software development in C. Experience working with embedded systems. Experience with the Atlassian toolset (Jira and Confluence).
