Due to our globally expanding service offerings we are seeking top-talent to join our teams and grow with us. Location: Stamford, CT & Rye, NY Duration: 6 months + Note - Candidates work at least two days per week in Stamford (preferably more). The remaining days can be split between the New York office and one day per week working from home.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled.NET / C# Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience with C# and the.NET framework and is comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and.NET /.NET Core
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, product, and DevOps
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs
• Ensure application security and data protection best practices
• Perform code reviews and follow coding standards
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C# and.NET Framework /.NET Core
• Experience with ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
• .Net C#, object-oriented programming core with 8-10 years' experience
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases
• Familiarity with Entity Framework / ORM tools
• Understanding of REST APIs and web services
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Need one of the following business area exposures with other hedge funds/asset:

• Treasury: Margin, financing costs, optimization, and locates
• Operations: Post-trade recs, affirmations, break resolutions, dispute process, allocations, etc. No trader or PM financing
• Accounting
• Compliance

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Azure / AWS
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture
• Front-end experience (Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest)
• Agile/Scrum experience

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in.NET/C# development
• Prior financial services experience, at a minimum within a bank, and ideally within a hedge fund environment.
