Key Responsibilities for the Tax Accountant / Tax Planner:

Prepare and file individual tax returns.
Manage an active tax-season client workload.
Provide year-round tax planning, projections, and strategic guidance.
Assist clients with estimated tax payments, notices, and tax-related matters.
Meet directly with clients to answer questions and provide recommendations.
Partner with financial advisors to identify tax-saving opportunities and planning strategies.

Qualifications for the Tax Accountant / Tax Planner:

Prior individual tax preparation experience required.
Experience with tax planning and client-facing tax consulting.
Strong knowledge of federal and Indiana tax regulations.
CPA or EA designation preferred but not required.
