Leasing Associate

The Leasing Associate plays a key role in supporting the leasing team by coordinating lease transactions from initial Letter of Intent (LOI) through lease execution while assisting with tenant outreach, market research, and marketing initiatives. This position combines analytical review of leasing documents with relationship management and project coordination to help drive occupancy across Red Mountain Group's national retail portfolio. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: Detail-oriented and highly organized. Comfortable reviewing legal and financial documents. Confident communicating with executives, brokers, and tenants. Able to balance administrative work with relationship-building. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Duties/Responsibilities Lease Administration & Transactions Draft, proofread, and coordinate Letters of Intent (LOIs), lease documents, and internal leasing approvals. Review lease terms for accuracy and consistency prior to execution. Coordinate lease progress between leasing, legal, property management, and executive leadership. Maintain leasing activity reports, expiration schedules, and deal tracking. Business Development Assist with identifying prospective tenants through market research and canvassing. Conduct outreach to prospective tenants and brokers. Respond to inquiries generated through CoStar, Crexi, LoopNet, signage, and other marketing channels. Support negotiations with tenants and brokers under the direction of senior leasing leadership. Coordinate property marketing materials and e-blasts. Assist with property tours and site visits. Travel to portfolio properties as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. 1-2 years related experience commercial real estate, leasing, legal, or contract administration experience. Experience reviewing contracts, leases, or other legal documents. Exceptional proofreading and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships. Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Desired: Working knowledge of Yardi or similar software. Desired: Working knowledge of SalesForce, CoStar, Crexi, Loopnet or similar software.
