Overview Attorney - Senior-level IP opportunity This Jobot Job is hosted by: Eric Hills Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year A bit about us Practice: Intellectual Property (Litigation and/or Prosecution) Level: Mid-Senior (5+ years) Location: Texas preferred (DFW, Houston, Austin, or fully remote within TX) National, partner-heavy law firm platform seeking an experienced IP attorney with an existing or portable book to join a lean, high-autonomy practice. This is not a traditional leveraged model. Attorneys operate with significant independence, modern support infrastructure, and the ability to scale their practice without BigLaw overhead. What You'd Be Doing Managing a self-sustaining IP practice with meaningful client responsibility Handling patent litigation, PTAB/ITC matters, prosecution, or trademark work depending on background Collaborating with senior-level attorneys across litigation, technology, and corporate when it makes sense (not forced cross-sell) Working directly with clients without unnecessary internal layers 5+ years of IP experience in patent litigation, patent prosecution, trademarks, or mixed practice Portable book or strong path to origination (existing clients, referral sources, or institutional relationships) Comfortable operating in a partner-only or partner-forward environment Prior BigLaw, AmLaw, or sophisticated boutique experience preferred Why join us?
