Job Summary The Host is responsible for delivering an excellent hospitality experience by maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant. They provide a positive and professional first and last impression to every guest. In the event there is a wait time, they quote an accurate wait time and answer any questions the guest may have. Job Responsibilities Interact courteously with Guests (answer phones, greet Guests, seat Guests, make reservations, take food orders) Uphold high safety and sanitation standards by completing sanitation practices at the front door, host desk, lobby area, and managing crowd control Learn restaurant seating layout, understand how tables are divided into server areas, and how food is delivered Set and clear a table neatly and efficiently according to P.F.
