Start your new career as an Assembly Associate with MAU in Ellabell, GA. As an Assembly Associate, you will assemble automotive seating components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting quality, safety, and production standards. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. What We Offer:
- Pay of $20.00 - $21.50 based on the shift
- Candidates must be open to working either shift:
- 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 3 PM (occasional overtime until 5 PM)
- 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM - 1 AM (occasional overtime until 3 AM)
- Training: All new hires complete a 2-week training period on 1st shift:
- Week 1: 8 AM - 4 PM
- Week 2: 6:30 AM - 3 PM

- Ability to use quality gauges accurately
- Ability to operate hand, pneumatic, and electronic tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
- Willingness to travel for training if required
- Commitment to following safety and quality procedures
- 1+ year of assembly experience preferred
- Experience assembling automotive components preferred
- Assemble metal, foam, fabric/leather, and electronic automotive seat components
- Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, fixtures, and jigs to complete assembly tasks
- Review work orders and work instructions to ensure specifications are met
- Inspect parts and identify defective components during production
- Monitor production flow and support continuous operations
- Perform material handling duties as needed
- Conduct layered audits and quality inspections
- Package finished products for shipment
- Rotate between production tasks as required
- Maintain 5S workplace organization standards
- Track parts and scrap using electronic systems
- Follow assembly and production processes and procedures
- Complete production reports as needed
- Support production workflow by performing various operations within the work area
- Comply with Quality Policy, ISO/TS 16949 requirements, and all safety policies
- Adhere to company anti-mutilation policies and workplace standards
