Major Duties and Responsibilities:Perform complete vehicle quality inspection in accordance with a standard work instruction ("SWI").Whilst following SWI ability to see relevant updates required via the appropriate Mercedes-Benz Systems.Perform the vehicle body inspection, and functional operation inspections, and install required literature, labeling, and consumable materials in vehicles.Requires an individual to complete simple line check modification and flashing using detailed modification instruction implemented by QM/MBUSA to ensure vehicle is customer readyPerform survey and quality inspections in accordance with the SWIPerform sight tests and line modification, including flashing, as necessaryUpdate VOISv upon completion of vehicles inspectionRequirements & Conditions:Must be able to work flexible hours/work scheduleRequires valid driver's licenseWork Holidays when requiredWork Holidays as scheduledWork weekend when requiredWork weekend as scheduledBackground, Education, Certifications, Training:High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent work experienceOne (1) year minimum experience in quality assurance.Preferably Undergraduate or Graduate Certification in Quality AssuranceThe placement will be made together with the VPC managementPosition/Position Description: Driver / General SupportMajor Duties and Responsibilities:Move vehicles as needed primarily on Mercedes property. However, in the unlikely event MBUSA requires it, moving vehicles may require driving on public roads.Work will be predominantly outside and TM should be prepared to work in all weather conditions.Sanding and/or polishing spoilers, using hand tools to install lug bolts, organizing and installing literate to vehicle in addition to any low skilled tasks within the VPC.Complete dynamic road testing and basic flashing using a SWI as neededUtilize fork lift to support parts department as requestedLog carriers in and out of facility including shipping of vehicles using VOISv systemPerform 42-day maintenance program (battery and brakes) according to work instructions*Note: Company will reimburse to Agency the expenses at cost without markup of any training for the specific task requested by Company.Requirements & Conditions:Must be able to drive vehicles ranging in sizes from as small as compact cars to as large as the passenger vansMust be able to work flexible hours/work scheduleRequires valid driver's licenseWork Holidays when requiredWork Holidays as scheduledWork weekend when requiredWork weekend as scheduledBackground, Education, Certifications, Training:No experience required.Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.#corefocus
