Description Detect Early. Care Deeply. Change Lives. Mammography Technologist - Diagnostic Radiology. This is a screening only Mammography Tech position. This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting. Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Required qualifications: Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist. upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography. Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience may be required. Preferred qualifications: 2 years Full-time mammography experience. Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
