You have proven experience managing procurement activities in support of U.S. Government prime contracts and/or subcontracts, including application of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) requirements.What You'll DoStrategy & Leadership:Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals and growth plansLead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering a high-performance cultureProvide subject matter expertise on global sourcing strategies and supply chain resilienceSourcing & Supplier Management:Oversee all direct and indirect procurement activities, including materials, services, and capital expendituresBuild and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and managing performanceDrive supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, service, and innovation metricsEnsure security of supply through proactive risk management and sourcing strategiesCost Optimization & Performance:Analyze procurement spend and develop sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings targetsEstablish and track procurement KPIs, providing reporting and insights to support decision-makingDrive continuous improvement across procurement processes, systems, and best practicesCross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to support integrated business planningCollaborate with Planning to optimize inventory levels and minimize operational disruptionsServe as the key liaison between procurement and internal stakeholdersCompliance & Governance:Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standardsOversee adherence to FAR/DFAR regulations and required reporting (e.g., ISR submissions)Support infrastructure and supply chain improvement initiatives across the organizationWhat You'll NeedBachelor's degree and 8+ years of procurement/supply chain experience, including at least 5 years supporting U.S. Government contracts in a defense, aerospace, or highly regulated manufacturing environment.Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government subcontract purchasing requirements, including flowdown clauses, supplier compliance, DPAS priorities, government property requirements, and procurement documentation standards.Experience partnering with Contracts, Program Management, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure compliance with government acquisition regulations and customer contractual requirements.Significant experience in procurement leadership, preferably in manufacturing or technology environmentsStrong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management experienceProven ability to develop and execute procurement and sourcing strategiesExperience driving cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficienciesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesExperience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning and integrated business planning processes is a plusAbility to travel up to 10%Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or CommerceWhy You'll Love Working HerePlay a key leadership role in shaping a high-impact supply chainWork in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teamsOpportunities to drive meaningful improvements and long-term business valueSalary Range:$120,300.00-$160,400.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
