Duties Perform geotechnical investigation. Perform geologic hazard assessment. Perform construction observation and testing. Perform geotechnical laboratory testing. Work outdoors in all weather conditions. Planning, scheduling, and conducting field investigations and laboratory testing. Data collection, data management, and record‑keeping, including calibrating laboratory and field equipment. Prepare written reports and perform engineering analyses, applying analytical skills and technical knowledge of the principles of soil mechanics. Responsibilities and compensation will align with experience and certifications. Education / Qualification Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or related fields (with geotechnical engineering and/or engineering geology coursework). Certifications / Licenses Preferred certifications (examples – not all are required): ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician ICC Reinforced Concrete Nuclear Density Gauge Candidates are not required to hold all listed certifications.
