Counter Team Members & Baristas - Tatte Belmont

Our Front of House Team Members create welcoming, memorable experiences for every guest who visits our cafés. Whether working as a Counter Team Member or Barista, you'll provide exceptional hospitality while maintaining our high standards for quality, cleanliness, and service.


Counter Team Members become experts on our bakery and café offerings, helping guests find their favorites while preparing orders and maintaining an inviting café environment. Baristas craft beautiful espresso beverages by hand while delivering genuine hospitality and an exceptional coffee experience.

We are looking for team members who:

• Have engaging, warm, and welcoming communication skills.
• Are passionate about hospitality, coffee, and great food.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and helping wherever needed.

• Have flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ideally have at least 1 year of experience as a barista using manual espresso equipment in a fast-paced café or restaurant (Barista position).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Counter Team Member

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional hospitality throughout their visit.
• Guide guests through our menu and make recommendations based on their needs.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of Tatte's bakery, café, and savory offerings.
• Take guest orders using the point-of-sale system.
• Follow all product preparation and packaging standards.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked café stations.
• Support café cleanliness and visual brand standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Barista

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional hospitality throughout their visit.
• Prepare handcrafted espresso beverages according to Tatte recipes and presentation standards.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of Tatte's menu and beverage offerings.
• Answer guest questions and make recommendations.
• Operate and maintain espresso equipment according to company standards.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, stocked, and sanitary.
• Create beautiful, high-quality espresso beverages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Passion for hospitality, coffee, and teamwork.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced café environment.
• At least 1 year of experience using manual espresso equipment is preferred for Barista candidates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / WORKING CONDITIONS

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to grasp and reach overhead.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry 50+ pounds.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8+ hours per shift.
