Quarry Foreman

Duties/Responsibilities:
- This is a night shift position, working hours will be approximately between 4:00pm-12:30am subject to change.
- Planning and organizing work schedules to meet production targets.
- Hands-on repair of plant equipment and knowledge of safety requirements required for operating a rock and sand mining operation.
- Managing a team of workers, including assigning tasks and providing training and development opportunities
- Ensuring that safety standards are met and that workers are following safety protocols.
- Monitoring and maintaining equipment, including conducting regular inspections and coordinating repairs.
- Maintaining accurate records of production, equipment maintenance, and employee performance
- Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time and to the required specifications.
- Responding to customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential safety hazards and environmental concerns.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a mining environment. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience as plant foreman or lead
- Must follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Some electrical knowledge/experience
- Attention to detail.
- Requires physical strength and hand-eye coordination.
- The ability to work well in a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
- Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.
- Must wear protective equipment while at the location.
- Capable to work extended hours as needed.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; Previous MSHA training is a plus.
- Standing for prolonged periods
- Lifting to 50 lbs.
- Crouching
- Walking
- Works in many different weather conditions
