Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (FNP/PA)

Position Highlights

As an FNP/PA, you will play a vital role in delivering quality medical care. Responsibilities include examining, diagnosing, and treating patients across the lifespan, acting as the primary consultant for cases referred by other staff providers, and maintaining accurate medical charts after each visit. You will also assist in internal quality control audits and ensure compliance with established standards through the NLHD quality assurance program. Additionally, this position involves supervising medical assistants and lab personnel to support efficient patient care delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and hold current licensure or certification relevant to their field. Strong clinical assessment skills, proficiency in electronic medical records, and the ability to lead and collaborate with healthcare teams are essential. Prior experience in primary care settings is preferred, along with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards such as HIPAA.
