Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Facilitate supportive individual therapy sessions that cater to the unique psychological and emotional needs of clients, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. \n
- Regularly observe and document patient interactions and progress, ensuring that notes are completed in an accurate, timely manner and reflect the patient's movement towards treatment goals. \n
- Support clients in adjusting to anxiety-inducing situations, guiding them through coping strategies, and acting as an advocate for needed services. \n
- Assist clients and their families with personal needs and ensure they are oriented to treatment processes and procedures. \n
- Work alongside other members of the treatment team to develop, implement, and adjust therapeutic plans based on patient reactions and progress. \n
- Monitor patient behavior effectively, reporting any significant changes, such as signs of aggression or increased emotional distress. \n
- Manage crisis situations with professional competence, demonstrating knowledge of emergency protocols and de-escalation techniques. \n
- Provide education to clients and families regarding mental health resources and treatment options available within the clinic. \n
You will primarily work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals, couples, families, children, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field. \n
- Active state licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD. \n
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting. \n
- Expertise in diagnosing and formulating treatment plans utilizing the DSM-5 framework. \n
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, demonstrating the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. \n
- Ability to operate effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. \n
- Flexibility to adjust working hours and therapeutic approaches according to client needs and schedule changes. \n
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate, efficient service delivery and documentation. \n

- Experience providing marriage and family therapy to diverse populations, addressing unique family dynamics and cultural considerations. \n
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and techniques. \n
- Previous involvement in community outreach efforts to improve mental health awareness and access. \n
