OB/GYN Hospitalist
Pediatrix & Obstetrix
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalist to join their team in partnership with Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Rockwall, TX. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive OBGYN hospitalist services to the suburban Dallas community. The position involves collaborating with in-house neonatologists and maternal-fetal medicine specialists in a Level III NICU.
Practice Info
- Partnership with Baylor Scott & White Medical Center
- Level III NICU with 1,700 deliveries annually
- Affiliated, in-house neonatologists and NNPs
- Maternal-fetal medicine specialists available for high-risk pregnancies
- Anesthesiology services in-house, 24/7
Responsibilities
- OB triage
- Admissions
- Attending deliveries
- Inpatient care
- Seeing unassigned patients and private call coverage
- Covering the OB floor
- ER consults for GYN emergencies
- Surgical assists at cesarean sections
- Fetal monitoring and emergency response in labor and delivery
