Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

What you will do Receive service calls from the Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions. Contact customer representatives to ascertain equipment/system problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including wet (steel, copper, CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps. How you will do it Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, bulletins, modification notices, etc. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. Demonstrate a high level of customer service, strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly. Must have the ability to work alone. Qualifications 3-5 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler service industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and handle overnight travel if required. Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs. Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times. Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements. Follow verbal and written instructions. Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs. Work in unusual or difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, high-lift equipment up to 60 ft., working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings. Understand and comply with all safety requirements of the company and the customer. Preferred: NICET Level I certification. Preferred: Backflow certification. Hourly range: $25.00-36.00 (determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market data). This position includes a competitive benefits package.
