Car wash Assistant Manager

Shift AvailabilityFlexible AvailabilityJob TypeEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesFunction as the manager in charge when Site Manager is unavailable.Responsible for ordering and stocking of vending.Effectively provide training to new hires.Able to train on Opening/Closing checklists and proper loading techniques to teammates.Responsible for training Fast Pass sales techniques to the team.Professionally responds to voicemails and emails in a timely manner.Able to create an effective schedule.Complete knowledge of Car Wash vacuum system operation.Able to clean the vacuum system (pressure washing the system).Support the Site Manager during monthly team meetings.Assist with on-site Supervisor Courses.Supervise teammates completing PM and assess if further training is needed.Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown.Required Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesHigh school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred.Leadership and communication skills including active listening.Experience with team building.Excellent sales and customer service skills.Ability to anticipate customer needs.Proficient computer skills.Strong work ethics and professional attitude.ExperienceThree+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role. Candidates with supervisory experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply.Physical DemandsFrequently required to stand and walk throughout the workday.Use of hands; reach with hands and arms.Climb or balance; stop, crouch and kneel.The employee must be able to work in damp and humid conditions.The employee must be able to work outdoors in variable weather conditions.The employee may have to lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50lbs.Working EnvironmentThis position works in a typical outdoor car wash environment. The noise level is usually moderate but can be excessively loud with hearing protection required (along with other PPE).
