AI Technical Project Manager

Salary: $145,600 - 166,400 per year Requirements:

• We need a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a closely related field.
• We require 8+ years of IT project management experience.
• We require 5+ years of experience in the healthcare payer space.
• We require 3+ years of experience leading AI, machine learning, GenAI, conversational AI, or intelligent automation programs.
• We need a strong grasp of SDLC, Agile delivery, and enterprise architecture principles.
• We require 5+ years of experience managing distributed, cross-functional teams.
• It is a plus to have healthcare domain exposure.
• It is a plus to be familiar with FHIR and HL7.
• It is a plus to have experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• It is a plus to understand model governance and explainability.

• We will lead end-to-end delivery of AI and agentic AI initiatives across healthcare payer operations.
• We will define scope, roadmap, milestones, risks, dependencies, and success measures.
• We will manage multiple concurrent projects using Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid approaches.
• We will build project plans, resource forecasts, budget tracking, and executive dashboards.
• We will ensure delivery on time, within budget, and aligned to business goals.
• We will lead the implementation of AI agents, GenAI solutions, intelligent virtual assistants, and workflow automation platforms.
• We will coordinate the development and rollout of autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents supporting claims operations, prior authorization, utilization management, care management, provider services, member services, appeals and grievances, and fraud, waste, and abuse detection.
• We will integrate LLM-based solutions with enterprise applications and healthcare platforms.
• We will define AI governance, monitoring, model evaluation, and operationalization practices.
• We will collaborate with solution architects, data scientists, AI engineers, and product owners.
• We will oversee architecture reviews, platform integrations, and deployment planning.
• We will ensure scalability, reliability, observability, and security across AI solutions.
• We will support cloud-native AI deployments on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• We will partner with business stakeholders to identify AI use cases across payer operations.
• We will translate healthcare business needs into technical delivery plans.
• We will manage projects covering claims processing, enrollment and membership, benefits administration, provider network management, utilization management, prior authorization, care management, risk adjustment, HEDIS quality programs, and value-based care initiatives.
• We will ensure solutions comply with CMS, HIPAA, NCQA, and other healthcare regulatory standards.
• We will uphold healthcare privacy, security, and AI governance requirements.
• We will work with data governance teams to advance responsible AI initiatives.
• We will mitigate risks tied to PHI, PII, AI bias, explainability, and model drift.
• We will implement monitoring frameworks for AI performance and regulatory compliance.
• We will engage executive leaders, business sponsors, technology teams, and external vendors.
• We will facilitate steering committee meetings and leadership reviews.
• We will communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• We will drive organizational change management and user adoption efforts.
