Job Description

As a Junior Software Engineer , you will solve real-world data challenges and deliver end-to-end customer-facing features. You'll write scalable code across backend services and a modern React front-end, turning complex, ambiguous requirements into reliable solutions that drive impact in the commercial real estate space.

The Qualifications We Seek

• At least 1-3 years relevant work experience
• Hold a STEM degree (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or similar) with a strong academic record
• Build and operate production services in Node.js or Python ( REST/GraphQL, async tasks, CI/CD )
• Use React and modern JS/TS tooling ( Vite/Webpack, Jest, React Testing Library )
• Decompose complex, poorly specified problems and ship elegant, maintainable solutions
• Apply strong software craft through testing , code reviews , Git workflows , and writing readable , well-documented code
• Communicate clearly in written and spoken English; translate technical concepts for mixed audiences

• Share a portfolio of standout projects- GitHub repos, hackathon wins, published papers, or blog posts
• Work with data pipelines , validation tools , or spreadsheet parsing at scale
• Demonstrate startup experience and a product mindset; focus on solving the right problem over perfect implementation
• Show evidence of rapid self-learning-new languages, frameworks, or research techniques adopted independently

Your Daily Tasks

• Design and build microservices and React UIs to process, validate, and visualize data at scale
• Tackle ambiguity: frame open-ended problems, prototype quickly, and iterate toward robust solutions
• Own quality: write and maintain tests, monitor systems in production, and drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate and communicate: explain technical trade-offs to both engineers and non-technical colleagues, and keep stakeholders in the loop
• Work autonomously: break down work into phases, set sensible priorities, and deliver results with minimal oversight in a startup-paced environment
