Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to residents as directed by a licensed nurse

• Conduct vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff

• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

• Work closely with the nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and medications

• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry best practices

Requirements:

• Must be a certified Medication Aide in the state of Texas

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
