Demand Marketing Specialist (Channel-Focused) Location: Remote Department: Marketing Reports to: VP of Growth About the Role We’re looking for a hands-on Demand Marketing Specialist who is passionate about building predictable, qualified pipeline through one or two focused, high-impact channels. This role is not just about running campaigns—it is about owning pipeline outcomes. You will be responsible for developing and scaling repeatable demand generation motions that consistently produce qualified meetings and sourced pipeline within our ideal customer profile (ICP). The ideal candidate is a channel owner and optimizer, not just an executor—someone who knows how to turn strategy into measurable pipeline and continuously improve results over time. What You’ll Do Own Pipeline Through Focused Channels Own 1–2 demand generation channels end-to-end (e.g., outbound, email nurture, lifecycle, or similar) Build and execute programs that consistently generate qualified meetings and sourced pipeline Develop repeatable, scalable plays that create predictable demand and pipeline contribution Drive Demand Outcomes (Not Just Activity) Own performance against key outcomes including: Meetings generated Qualified pipeline sourced (opportunities created/influenced) Funnel conversion rates across stages Actively optimize performance using data, testing, and iteration Partner Deeply with Sales (SDRs & AEs) Act as a co-equal partner with SDRs and Account Executives to drive pipeline outcomes Work collaboratively to define: ICP and account segmentation Target account lists Outreach and sequencing strategy Follow-up processes and SLA expectations Participate in pipeline and performance reviews to ensure demand converts into real opportunities Help design and refine the end-to-end demand management system, from lead generation through opportunity creation Optimize Channel Performance Continuously improve conversion across the funnel (targeting → engagement → meeting → opportunity) Run A/B tests on messaging, targeting, and channel tactics Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency and output Own Systems, Data & Reporting Build and maintain reporting on channel performance, including: Meetings from demand Pipeline sourced Conversion rates Use tools like HubSpot (or similar CRM/marketing platforms) to: Build programs and workflows Create dashboards and reports Ensure clean data and accurate tracking Translate insights into actionable improvements for both marketing and sales What We’re Looking For Proven Channel Ownership Experience owning and scaling a demand generation channel, not just supporting campaigns Track record of improving conversion rates, meetings, and pipeline generation over time Technical & Analytical Skillset Hands-on experience with: CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot) Reporting, dashboards, and pipeline tracking Sequencing tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, HubSpot) Strong capabilities in: ICP development and segmentation List building and targeting A/B testing and performance optimization Demand & Funnel Expertise Deep understanding of lead management and demand flow across the funnel Ability to identify gaps and improve conversion between stages Sales Collaboration Mindset Experience working closely with SDRs and Sales teams Comfortable being accountable for shared pipeline outcomes, not just marketing activity Strong communicator who can align teams around performance goals Execution-Oriented Operator Thrives in a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves environment Bias toward action, testing, and continuous improvement What Sets You Apart You’ve owned a channel and improved its outcomes, not just executed within it You think in terms of pipeline and revenue, not just leads or campaigns You proactively partner with sales to improve systems, follow-up, and conversion You combine data, tools, and experimentation to make channels perform better over time Why Join Us Direct ownership of pipeline generation and revenue impact Strong alignment between marketing and sales as true partners Autonomy to build, optimize, and scale demand channels Opportunity to create measurable, visible business impact
