Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join our team of 5 Neonatologists and 7 NNPs in Des Moines, IA.

Group covers two hospitals:

MercyOne Medical Cente

r:

a 60-bed Level 3 NICU with an ADC of 42; 24/7 in house coverage, full subspeciality support, care for infants down to 22 weeks gestation, active neonatal transport team. M-F Day Shift 10 hours with NNP M-F Night Shift 14 hours Neonatologist only Weekends 24 hours Neonatologist only ** have discharge coordinator and social worker that round with neonatologist daily NNPs have their own team with neonatology oversight ** are building our NNP team with aim of having 24/7 NNP coverage as well at our level 3
