Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Cardiovascular located in Gainesville, Florida. This opportunity involves providing critical care for patients with cardiovascular conditions in a busy community hospital setting. The position supports a fast-paced environment with a focus on advanced cardiovascular procedures and technologies.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, including every other weekend or three weekend shifts per month.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, critical care competencies, experience with vasoactive infusions, arterial lines, invasive central lines, and ventilator management.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiothoracic surgery experience, cardiology experience.
• Additional Information: The ICU is an ECMO center currently managing more than three patients on ECMO, with high surgical volume including cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries. The unit features new equipment and technology, and has a team with extensive experience and tenure.
