DescriptionBROAD FUNCTIONS: To obtain payments for goods while maintaining a high level of customer service.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides fast and friendly customer serviceItemizes and totals purchasesVerifies customer's age on restricted itemsCollects payments and/or verifies credit acceptance.Balances Cash DrawerReceives MerchandiseStocks shelves and coolerControls Inventory and cash through proper transaction record keepingPerforms light paperwork duties as assignedMaintains professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the employee handbook. Ability to interact with customers on a friendly basis and work in a fast-paced environmentAvailability: Must be available to work weekends and holidayPhysical:Must be able to work any area of the store when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.Position requires bending, standing, walking and repetitive use of hands and arms the entire workday.
