Join the office of Eva Hernandez State Farm Agency and gain hands-on experience working in a State Farm independent contractor agent’s office.

As an Insurance Sales & Customer Service Representative , you’ll build relationships with customers, identify insurance needs, generate new business, and provide exceptional service. You’ll have the opportunity to develop valuable sales and business skills while learning what it takes to help operate a successful insurance agency.

For candidates interested in entrepreneurship, this role can also provide valuable experience and exposure to the responsibilities of running an insurance agency.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Provide friendly, accurate, and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with policy questions, changes, billing, claims, and account needs.
• Conduct needs-based conversations to educate customers about available insurance options.
• Generate leads through outbound calling, referrals, prospecting, networking, and follow-up.
• Schedule appointments and consistently follow up with prospects and customers.
• Identify customer needs and market appropriate auto, home, life, health, and other available insurance products.
• Cross-sell and identify opportunities to help existing customers with additional insurance needs.
• Work toward established individual and agency sales, retention, and marketing goals.
• Maintain accurate records and complete assigned follow-up activities.
• Bring a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to achieving results every day.

What We’re Looking For

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Licensing

• Property & Casualty license required or must be obtained within the required timeframe.
• Life & Health license required or must be obtained within the required timeframe.
