As an equal opportunity employer, we offer a team-oriented, collaborative work environment for close to 400 employees at eight different locations in Rutland and southern Addison counties.About The RoleCommunity Health seeks a per diem retail pharmacist for Brandon Community Pharmacy located in our Brandon clinic.Under general supervision of pharmacy manager, and in accordance with standard department procedures, the pharmacist will dispense patient medications.Functions Of The RoleReview, interpret, input and accurately dispense medicationsPerform drug therapy reviews and medication managementCounsel patients and answer questions regarding medications, services, and disease managementBlister pack medicationsMaintain current knowledge and skills related to pharmacy and healthcareObtain necessary certifications, education credits and trainingsMaintain proper drug storage and securityAnswer telephones and respond to questions or requestsMaintain records appropriate for recall purposes and inventory of stock itemsAssist with and ensure accuracy of third-party claimsProvide strong customer service skills at all times with patients, employees, pharmacists and other service providersDevelop and maintain good relationships with patients, staff members, medical professionals and community stakeholdersAssist and support pharmacy manager with general pharmacy tasksOversee the work of pharmacy techniciansPromote teamwork and motivate team membersSupport and comply with Community Health and Brandon Community Pharmacy values and expectationsEnsure pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, policies and standardsKnowledge, Skills And Education Requirements• Bachelor of Science Degree in pharmacy or pharmacist degree from an accredited educational institution; PharmD preferred• Keyboard and computer literacy skills required• Must be licensed and in good standing as a Pharmacist in the state of Vermont• 1-2 years of experience preferredHow We Support YouWork Life BalanceGenerous Time OffComprehensive Wellness Program
