Matrix Basement Finishing is one of the fastest-growing basement remodeling companies in the Midwest, nationally recognized for craftsmanship, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. As we expand into the Madison market, we are seeking a Field Manager to lead day-to-day construction operations, ensure quality execution, and serve as the primary on-site leader for our projects. This role is critical to maintaining Matrix standards while scaling a new territory.

Matrix Basement Finishing is seeking an experienced Field Manager to support the launch and growth of our Madison, WI market. This role is responsible for overseeing residential basement remodeling projects, managing subcontractors, ensuring quality control, maintaining schedules, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Field Manager serves as the primary on-site leader, coordinating between sales, design, production, and homeowners.

Essential duties and responsibilities include managing multiple residential basement remodeling projects simultaneously, overseeing daily jobsite operations from pre-construction through completion, conducting pre-construction meetings and jobsite walk-throughs, ensuring projects are built according to plans, specifications, and local building codes, coordinating and supervising subcontractors, enforcing Matrix standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness, maintaining project schedules and ensuring on-time completion, performing quality control inspections at each phase of construction, serving as the primary point of contact for homeowners during construction, providing regular project updates and resolving customer concerns, ensuring OSHA compliance and adherence to jobsite safety standards, managing permits, inspections, and documentation as required, documenting job progress, punch lists, and close-out items, utilizing company systems and tools to track project status, collaborating with sales, design, and leadership teams, and assisting in establishing field operations and processes for the Madison market.

Qualifications/skills include 3-5 years of field experience in construction, communicating with both customers and business partners effectively, excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational and planning skills, management of installation teams, proven success records, ability to work through a punch list, CRM or scheduling software proficiency, multi-tasking skills, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation and benefits include a base salary range of $80,000 – $90,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience, performance-based bonus opportunities, health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays, company vehicle or vehicle allowance (market dependent), and growth and advancement opportunities as Matrix Basement Finishing continues to expand.
